Guy Curtis
Rear Admiral, US Navy (ret)

Admiral Curtis currently manages his own government and technology consulting business which he founded in 2002 after serving in a strategic role at Xerox Corporation and completing a long and distinguished career in the U.S. Navy. While at Xerox, Admiral Curtis was charged with developing the worldwide government strategy, implementation planning and field deployment that helped evolve the company to an industry solution approach. The Admiral’s 25-year-plus career with the U.S. Navy culminated in a position as Assistant Deputy Chief of Naval Operations, Logistics. In this role he achieved significant reduction in production time and cost as a result of developing the Department of Defense Strategic Plan for flexible computer integrated manufacturing. Admiral Curtis is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power School. Bob Flores
Former CTO of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)

Bob Flores is the Founder, President, and CEO of Applicology Incorporated, an independent consulting firm specializing in information technology and cyber security issues. Prior to starting Applicology, Mr. Flores spent 31 years at the CIA and held various positions in the Directorate of Intelligence, Directorate of Support, and the National Clandestine Service. Toward the end of his career at the CIA, he spent three years as the CIO’s Chief Technology Officer where he was responsible for ensuring that the Agency’s technology investments matched the needs of its mission. During this time Mr. Flores was also the Agency’s representative on several government-wide information sharing committees and councils. In addition to his senior level leadership and management positions, his career included assignments in applications programming, training and education, contract and project management, and both line and staff management roles at various levels of the Agency. Mr. Flores earned several Exceptional Performance Awards throughout his career at CIA. He holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Statistics from Virginia Tech. Greg Garcia
Former Assistant Secretary for Cyber Security and Communications for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)

Greg Garcia is president of Garcia Strategies, LLC, a strategic business and government affairs advisory services firm representing large and small companies that contribute to the nation’s cyber security mission. Prior to starting his own firm, Garcia served as the nation’s first presidentially-appointed Assistant Secretary for CS&C at DHS from 2006-2008. While there, he led the strategic direction of CS&C, overseeing a $500 million budget for the National Cyber Security Division, the Office of Emergency Communications and the National Communications System. Prior to DHS, Mr. Garcia served as vice president for Information Security Programs and Policy at the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA) where he worked with DHS to help create the National Cyber Security Partnership. He has also served as a Congressional staff member of the House Committee of Science and Technology where he played a lead role in drafting and shepherding the enactment of the Cyber Security Research and Development Act of 2002. Prior to his service on Capitol Hill, Mr. Garcia contributed to national policy development through several private sector organizations which included his role as director of 3Com Corporation’s Global Government Relations Office. Former CTO of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)

Bob Gourley is the founder of Crucial Point LLC, a technology research and advisory firm. He is a former CTO of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) where he provided technical and operational advice and senior technical review regarding DIA and DoD IIS information architectures, data processing, IT systems, applications, networks and communications. A winner of InfoWorld’s 2007 Top 25 CTO Awards, Mr. Gourley is a strong advocate for user-focused software and his contributions to the Google Gadget community have placed him on Google’s list of the top 200 gadget programmers in the world. He holds three masters degrees including a master of science degree in scientific and technical intelligence from Naval Postgraduate School, a master of science degree in military science from USMC University, and a master of science degree in computer science from James Madison University. Former CIO of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)

Alan Wade retired from federal service in 2005 after a 35-year career in the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Early assignments at the CIA involved technical programs primarily in the areas of telecommunications and technical security. During the last 15 years of his career he held increasingly senior roles including Director of Communications, Director of Security and Chief Information Officer. At the time of his retirement he had been the CIO of the Agency for three years and had the added responsibility of CIO for the United States Intelligence Community. During his career Mr. Wade received significant recognition for his contributions including the Meritorious and Distinguished Officer designations and the National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal.
