John Prisco
President and Chief Executive Officer
John Prisco joins Triumfant as President and CEO with more than 25 years of experience as a founder and manager of numerous high-tech start-up companies. Prisco established a track record of success in the high-tech field first by founding Penn Access, a competitive local access carrier operating in Pittsburgh. Prisco also served as President and CEO of 2nd Century Communications, the nation’s first packet-based CLEC operating in 33 of the largest U.S. metropolitan areas. In 2001, Prisco became CEO of eLink Communications, a BLEC with over 300 multi-tenant buildings operating in New York City. In 2003, he became President and CEO of Ridgeway Systems & Software, a U.K.-based software company specializing in secure firewall traversal and acquired by Tandberg Incorporated in 2004. Most recently, Prisco served as President and CEO of GeoVantage Inc., a location-based services aerial imaging company sold to John Deere at the end of 2005. Prisco holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and a Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Dave Hooks
Chief Technology Officer
Dave Hooks has 25 years of experience in product development, product management and product marketing, serving 8 years at ITT and 16 years at Nortel Networks. For the last seven years, he managed Nortel Networks’ Access Products Group, a mini-business unit with 150 employees and annual revenues of $500M. Hooks has been known as an innovator throughout his career and was the primary creator of the Triumfant Resolution Manager product concept. Hooks holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
Brenda Jellicorse
Vice President, Finance
Brenda Jellicorse joined Triumfant (formerly Chorus Systems) in 2003. Prior to joining Triumfant, Jellicorse served as President of Horizon Analytics, a consulting firm performing business planning and market research for financial services companies. Her 17 years of experience in finance, operations and economic research includes work as an economist at Research Triangle Institute, where she managed multi-million dollar contracts focused on the economic and financial impact of regulation. Subsequently, Jellicorse was an integral part of the management team focused on financial and strategic planning for GE Capital.
Jellicorse holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill.
Artie Trakas
Vice President, Sales
As Vice President of Sales, Artie Trakas has more than 20 years of experience in the technology arena. Prior to joining Triumfant, he served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for LLD Inc. a successful IT services and consulting firm that earned recognition as one of Inc. magazine's 50 fastest-growing companies. This accomplishment helped lead to the sale of LLD to the McKean Defense Group (MDG) in 2006.
Trakas also served as Executive Vice President of Sales with ViewGate Networks, a UK-based network performance services company serving both Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. Prior to ViewGate, Trakas led worldwide sales and marketing as Senior Vice President at Osicom Technologies, which later became Sorrento Networks and was acquired by Zone Technologies. Trakas also served on the board for Osicom SA in Europe, and has held senior management positions with Rockwell International and Wang Laboratories.
Trakas majored in Business Management at Wheeling College and attended Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management Executive MBA Programs for Sales Leadership and Strategy. He is a member of the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) and has been a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) since 1997.
